Very impressed with the trip reports and content here! My wife and I go camping and backpacking every chance we get... usually just quick weekend trips because of our jobs.

Currently working on reducing the base weight of our packs, trying to get closer to an ultralight setup. Super excited for some trips we are planning this year... I'm sure I'll be asking people's advice on some areas that I'm less familiar with.

Still deciding on some things. We always do a 5 day trip on Boulder mountain as soon as the lakes start thawing out, amazing fishing if you know where to go. Looking at some trails near Victor, ID as well for an extended weekend in spring.

Haven't seen enough of the Escalante area, some of the trip reports on this forum have us excited to explore down there too! If you have any must see spots I'd love to hear them... Our typical short weekend trips are in the high Uintas.
