I have a love for the outdoors! I live in PA but I have been doing a big trip every summer out west for about 30 years now mostly in the Sierra. Next summer I am heading to Yellowstone to explore for a week after backpacking Grand Teton for 7-8 nights. I plan on taking a break from the Sierra for a few years and explore Montana, Wyoming & Idaho. I will be asking for advice from time to time, and will post reports on the trips I take.

Jim Thorpe is my favorite!...I use to be a big mountain biker. I also really like the PA grand canyon. I live in farm country so there isn't much close to me.

I'll spend part of my summer in Yellowstone each summer and hike a lot. You will like it, as long as you stay away from the touristy stuff and hike the backcountry
