IMG_5366.jpegIMG_5366.jpeg This probably should go into trip reports as I’ve never gone and had anything like this done before⛺️ apparently when we get a little bit older as Scatman might be able to tell you with his knee, ones joints and things tend to wear down, especially with multiple injuries motorcycle couple of car, wrecks, slipping, and falling on grease at a Burger King… and surgery as in replacing the joints is sometimes needed. I finally went to see the orthopedic shoulder surgeon and as he’s pointing out here in the picture, there’s no more cartilage or anything. It’s bone on bone and it is not going to get any better it’s just going to get more painful and far less movement. Therefore, after getting a second opinion from my wife, I will be having surgery in the middle of August to get the lower part of my shoulder replaced. If any of you have had this done, please jump in and tell me what am I going to expect and how’s it going and how much more fun I’m going to have backpacking so I can sleep and move my arm at night. Til next time… IMG_5366.jpeg

Good luck on the surgery! Is August as soon as they an get you in for surgery? How long is the recovery time going to be?
