I'm retired, but they still drag me out from time to time. This article, in Europe's leading beverage magazine, was based on a presentation I made in Amsterdam last November.

That's an interesting read! I know hardly anything about wine, but those points resonated with me as a person who never knows what they're doing when looking for a bottle or ordering a glass. Most of those technical details pass way over my head.

And this one made me laugh: "In the last twelve months the Wine Spectator magazine rated 10,441 wines. 6,514 of them scored 90 points or better."
I always thought it seemed like nearly every bottle at the store has a 90+ rating. Interesting to see those numbers.
