On my dad's 90th birthday, I hiked to the top of Mount Wire today. This report is actually for @TractorDoc. No need to put it on the slide show, as everyone has seen this route multiple time from me now.

I should say that the lower foothills were popping with wildflowers today. It's always special to hike in the spring when the wildflowers begin to bloom in earnest.

And to finish off my Big Bad Baptist Rare Release Series for my Saturday night beer.

The End.

I DID sense the BCP salute, Scatster. I was out hiking with my dogs and this shockwave hit me, almost knocked me down. I was thinking maybe an earthquake, but then I realized it had to be that someone was doing the BCP salute somewhere. I did the salute back, but I think by then you were too busy drinking chocolate mint to notice.

ETA: That picture of you doing the salute should be the banner photo for this forum. Love the kilt, but you need a pink hat.

I just thought that was the chocolate mint stout disagreeing with my stomach. :) I need to do a better job of distinguishing the two.

My hat was pink - a dark pink I guess. It matched the dark pink patches on the kilt. I think. This shot might show it a little bit better.
