We are in for a good old plain s spring blizzard out here. So far I'm outside of the storm track, but the forecasts for winter storms this season have been notoriously off.
It's snowing lightly in L-town, and we're supposed to get 3-6 inches, but it seems doubtful cause we have to send it all your way. The numbers on that graphic are high - 2 feet is a lot.
Looks like my location (Nebraska side of the river near Sioux City IA) will get mainly rain with a little ice/snow possible. That assumes the forecast holds true. Just drizzle so far here.
There's a huge swath of the plains that is predicted to get hammered. Aside from the obvious issues of 1-2ft of snow plus strong wind, April snows typically melt pretty fast so we may be in for more flooding after the storm itself passes.
