Looking for pictographs in the Zion Area

Hmmm, is it better than the ZAC class? These girls don't have any outdoor experience, and I have zero canyoneering experience. I know they are really excited about the rappels (as is Auntie Laura!)

The shuttle tour is a tour on the shuttle led by a ranger not a class or anything to do with canyonering.
 
If you don't mind the brush and cacti, you can scramble up the slope to the "Big Bend" granery just to the base of the cliff (about 75-80' up). However, there is a sign up there stating that the site is protected and you can go no further. It's a fun scramble though.

Petroglyph Canyon is very easy to access east of the tunnel. I won't divulge it's exact location, but if you ask the rangers at the Visitor Center, they'll tell you. I will say this: don't bother hiking down to the wash and under the bridge. Just cut across the road from where they tell you to park and enter from the right side of the bridge and go down the slope. The panels are not very far at all.
