Labor Day Plans

We got rained out of the Uintas. The storm action in the valley was magnified up there. It rained almost non stop for the three days we were up there. Sucks when you burn vacation days to sit in a tent all day.

Haha...we were up in the Uintas as well. What a soggy trip! We still got out and explored (had rain jackets and pants) but it ruined our summit attempts . It was still a great trip with lots of great scenery. We started at WFBF and it lived up to Nick's hype! =)

Lizard Head Trail turned out great. The rain was brutal Saturday night, but Sunday and Monday more than made up for it. The first day was a surprising difficult 7 hours, but then again it might just be because we're not what we used to be.

BTW - we came across 2 hikers all weekend. Telluride is outside the orbit of SLC and Denver and it shows.
