We spent a week wandering Zion and Kolob Canyon.
Weather was typically a low of 40’s and a high of 60’s. It did dipped down to 31 degrees one night.
We did a lot of out and backs to avoid using shuttles.
First timing dealing with the NPS Permits System in Zion.
We passed very few people and most of them were hiking from Lee Pass
Thru Lava Point and terminating at the Grotto.
The Hop Valley Trail passes through 2.5 miles of private property with roaming cattle on it.
While I’m sure Utah is loaded with scenic points we found Hop Valley to be a fun hike filled with a variety of changing landscapes.
