June Mountain Trips

I am trying to put together a quick 1-2 night trip into the Eastern Uintas in early June. I need something easy as I am hoping to bring along my pregnant wife for this one. I am thinking Spirit Lake to Mccoy park. My only concern is if early June is going to be too early to attempt this. Does anyone have any experience with the area at that time of year?

June is usually great on the east end. It typically receives less snow and therefore melts off much faster than the west end. For example, in that wild winter of 2011 when everything on the Mirror Lake Highway was frozen over on the 4th of July, we were having a great time at Potter Lake.
