Went backpacking up in Grandaddy Basin from Friday-Monday. It rained hard on Friday and we made it to Palisade Lake before we decided to make camp. We saw a beautiful buck up on Hades Pass on the way into the basin. Saturday was beautiful and we made our way to Allen Lake to do some fishing. When we got there we were surprised to be the only ones at the lake. I fly fished all day and caught a bunch of Arctic Grayling. It was awesome! The next day we fished in the morning and i caught 7 Grayling in an hour!.....and then it started raining. It finally stopped raining long enough to make a fire and then it stared raining again....and didn't stop until dinner time! The next morning we awoke to coyotes howling and screeching at the crack of dawn. We woke up and got an early start on our 9 mile hike out to beat the afternoon showers.
