Hello all,
I have an upcoming 10 night trip in the Thorofare and am looking to possibly get out to Bridger-Teton National Forest for a few nights at the end of July to get a little extra experience. Does anyone have any experience with dispersed camping in BTNF? I've been looking at the website for restrictions, etc., but can't seem to find much other than 200 feet from lakes/trail and 100 feet from streams. I know some National Forests have designated sites that they want you in, and I'm just trying to make sure that isn't the case with BTNF. It looks like I would have no problem stringing together a 3-4 day loop from the Turpin Meadow area. Assuming you can camp basically anywhere out there, it seems like a good destination to get in a few miles. I really appreciate any insight that anyone can share.
