I have been enjoying lurking here for the last few months and finally decided to join up (mostly to obtain your sage advice and possibly post a report now and then). Although, I live and work in Montana. I have strong emotional ties to the Uintahs. I hope to hike the Highline in 2018 or 2019..

Hey Kootenai, I'm just a few miles south of you right now in Hamilton. Will be leaving in a day or two for parts unknown. Sure a beautiful state, eh?

It is indeed. And great hiking just out of every town. Hope you enjoy your stay, the weather has been great recently.

Last time I was here the Roaring Lion Fire was blowing up, so it's nice to see what it normally looks like. Love the Bitterroots.
