There are so many great places where you don't need a permit.Doing some stuff in Zion. I had a hard time getting permit reservations.

2. Kolob Trail overnighter via Lee Pass to Kolob Arch Trail.

There are so many great places where you don't need a permit.
That is a lot closer to mountains than I was, but still a little farFL sucks for backpacking, but sometimes I miss the beach
Yes. It seems there are tons of trails. We were hoping to have multiple nights of camping/hiking but I had limited success in reserving camp sites.
Found out to late that there is dispersed camping allowed on BLM Land.
Any suggestions for our next trip?

I prefer the SE quadrant of Utah. Cedar Mesa, Bears Ears, San Rafael Reef. It's almost endless.
