Guess the spot

Grand staircase escalante :). I'm pretty sure I read a TR of yours years ago and I remember as it was unique and I had seen the castle from yellow rock and wondered if it could be hiked.

Nicely done, you're up. This picture has been taken close to the top of Castle Rock which is close to Cottonwood Canyon Road.
I found that hiking to the foot of Castle Rock was more difficult than hiking along its SW slickrock slope to reach the top area.
Here is another picture taken from the top area and looking to the North :

Muir Woods National Monument?

Name the river and spot.

Hint: it's in Yellowstone but what spot and what river.

Lewis river?

I'll repost the pic here. Couple more clues: this spot is north of Hayden Valley and the photo was taken facing south.
