Name the two big mountains in the distance AND the peak the photo was taken from, as well as the bigger lake in the valley. Or any one of these will work. My brother took this photo with an old film camera.
I'm going to be gone for awhile, so will post the answer: there are actually three big peaks - Mt. Wilson, El Diente, and Wilson Peak. The larger lake is Trout Lake and the photo was taken from Golden Horn, above Ice Lakes.
Thought that might be Sleeping Ute mountain in the far background, but I like your guess better @Rockskipper valleys seem too big and ruins too large for Hovenweep on second look
The ruins you see are from a ghost town that prospered in the 1860s and 1870s. You can name the town, its namesake hill, the mountain range, or pretty much anything else.
