Guess the spot: Utah Edition

I might be completely wrong but is that on the trail in between the Post and Lower Muley going over the Waterpocket Fold?
Nope, sorry..
Looks an awful lot like Zion to me. Not sure where exactly though. I was thinking maybe out of the park on the east side, north of Kanab, but that isn't lining up. Hmmmm...
You are absolutely correct. It's just east of the Barracks just outside Zion NP. The picture is taken from the very sandy 4x4 trail that leaves the East Fork of the Virgin River and runs south through Elephant Cove. The river runs below the foot of the cliffs in the picture.
Here is the location of the colorful cliffs: https://goo.gl/maps/sRGC6oqyTTR2
And the picture is taken roughly from this location: https://goo.gl/maps/GRqRUcZgCn22
Nick you are up...

You should take it @Dan , I don't have pictures with me, and I wouldn't've recognized it if Nick hadn't said you were close.

Where are you standing for that picture @Nick ? And what's with all the spots?

Alright, I'll take it. I don't have much here at work, but here's one.

Looks like a bighorn sheep up there on the ridge - taken from Provo Canyon Road or near it / near Bridal Veil falls area. Could be way off but thats my first guess.

Big horn yes, far off on the guess though.

Newfoundland Mountains?

This is correct. I'm new at this, does it need to be closer than an entire range?

Close enough for me.

Shot was taken here: 40.740599, -112.640088

I've visited the area 3-4 times for some limestone sport climbing. Good place to go when it's too cold most places. Climbers call it "Valley of Zion." Crags are named silly things like, "Blob," "Blob's Your Uncle/Aunt."

It's more popular as a shooting range though, ton's of debris at the base from shooters that don't pick up shells, and blow things up.

You're up Jackson.
