Greetings from Overland Park!

We have been enjoying the great BCP trip reports and photos for some time and finally got around to becoming members. We live in Overland Park, KS (suburb of KC) and for the last fifty years (yes, we are not exactly young) we have been getting out to “back of beyond” on “roads less traveled” at every opportunity. We have had great adventures in the wilds of Glacier NP, the Boundary Waters of MN, and the CO Plateau--particularly Cedar Mesa and the Swell. Our primary interests include hiking, photography, rock art & ruins, Native American history, and public lands preservation. It is great to become a member of the BCP and look forward to sharing trip reports and photos!

@Glasterpiece.......the formations are called Monument Rocks chalk formations in Oakley. We have not stopped to explore on the way west.
