Glacier national park fire

Ya...just read of another new fire in the North Fork. ..that's 3 burning now in GNP.

I was just camped in Martha's Basin a week before. Crazy. I probably would have just hiked all the way out if I stumbled on it like they did.

Don't know much about the North Fork fire, but I'm heading down the Polebridge Road from Columbia Falls right now, and its real smoky.

I knew you were just in that Nyack area.
I heard that the North Fork fire is out. Hopefully.
How you liking that road? Are you driving up to Bowman /Kintla? The road gets worse after you leave the Merc. Be sure to have a huckleberry bearclaw. ..

The road actually isn't that bad right now. They have water on it. I think all the smoke is from the Thompson Fire. Who knows though. But I think I'm ready to leave all this smoke behind and head down to Wyoming.

Will be heading down there next Friday.
Will be in Pinedale on Saturday.
Can't wait.
