Gear Deals

Reviving this thread in lieu of starting a new one. What can I say, nostalgia is kind of my thing.

Anyway, I'll preface this by saying I'm earning absolutely no commission for hyping this, I just think it's pretty damn cool what Garage Grown Gear cobbled together.

Small Business Sales Week is up and running through May 21st, and over 80 startup and growing gear brands (mostly ultralight) have some pretty killer discounts on their stuff. Six Moon Designs, Zpacks, Farm to Summit, Ursack, etc. are in on the gig, as are a number of other brands who make products I've either used (or seen used by others who vouch for them) while on the trail.

Food, tarps, poop trowels, bivy sacks, ultralight tent stakes, stuff from brands I've applied to jobs for and never heard anything back, you name it. No hard feelings from me, I'm just envious of their journey and try to do my best to promote their deals when I can instead of simply saying 'Backcountry.com probably has something similar' all the time.

I know this time of year is when trip prep begins, and since REI's big sale begins tomorrow (I think), I figured I'd at least tip some folks off to checking here before heading there.
