Be careful with Chicken of the Woods (COW), it causes gastrointestinal issues for some people. It's more prevalent in older specimens like in your last photo. My brother and his then-girlfriend learned this the hard way. It made for a funny story though!

Thanks for the warning, the mushroom guy warned me to have a small bit first. My wife and I did not have any problems. I think the bottom photo is relatively young, they were very soft and easy to break off of the tree. I'll try not to eat a ton though
