And I swear I read a trip report a long time ago (maybe by IntrepidXJ?), that showed great yellow leaves in Horseshoe Canyon in early November but I can't find it.

Still a little green with the yellow. So perhaps a chance some of it might still be holding on by November 10th?

Given how far away I am I've been watching this site: www.scenicsouthernutah.com/fallcolor_report.shtml It's predicting mid to late October for Zion to peak and there's a webcam on Zion-absolutely no color change whatsoever yet. It doesn't have anything for Capitol Reef, unfortunately.

I rarely get a chance to get out the past weeks, but at least yesterday I could check the fall foliage in nearby Akron Falls Park in my neighborhood.
The drought had paid a big toll on my area, a lot of trees lost their leaves in August and there is basically no water in Murder Creek and Akron Falls are bone dry

Here are some shots I could take while exploring the park.

this weekend I will check out Allegany SP again and some of the waterfalls in the Fingerlakes region. Hopefully they have some water
