Spent four days backpacking with Joey around the Escalante. Silver Falls Canyon, Harris Wash, Neon Canyon and Choprock Canyon. Three different canyons. SIlver Falls has the rugged blocky walls, Neon has the color and spectacular pouroff. Choprock has great narrows, great color, high walls. The Escalante canyon has the openness surrounded by high cliffs and vegetation. Great weather. All in all a great trip to an area I haven't been before. A few pics to look thru. Hopefuly Joey gets the vid done soon...
Day 1 saw 8.8 miles, the Hobbs Panel and exploring Harris Wash. Day 2 we hiked along the Escalante visited Neon canyon and a large art panel, for 9.4 miles. Day 3 we hiked up Choprock, explored some of the forks and camped after 7.7miles. Day 4 we hiked out and back around to the truck for 8.1 miles.... 34 miles of neat country...
Arrived in the dark, had a nice view of the Henry's at dusk.

Down Silver Falls.

Along the Escalante River.

Neon canyon.

Early recording of Bigfoot in the desert....
