Elephant Hill Road Advice

Headed to Canyonlands in about a week and a half and will be doing Elephant Hill Road for the first time. I've hiked it multiple times, but this will be the first time driving it. We will be camping at Devils Kitchen...gotta love access to a backcountry pit toilet!
My buddy will actually be doing the driving in his Xterra. I'm on spotter duty. We did the Flint Trail to the Maze Overlook last year and it was a blast!
What advice can you share with us on driving Elephant Hill Road? Just slow and steady? Let us learn from you wise 4WD masters.
(We originally planned on camping at Standing Rock and exploring the Doll House, but the Flint Trail is still snow covered)

Been on it in Xterra and frontier. Only mod is a 2" body lift . No sweat. Pretty mild......go over and do steel bender....now that's tough.
