All of the long range forecasts from NOAA are not looking good either. Below average precipitation and above average temperatures expected for most of the west for the next while. I'd love for them to be wrong.

Yes as Jackson is saying above, there was an article on this in the local paper today. The long-term forecasts don't look good for the water supply turnout the west. Now even here where we had adequate snowfall and snowpack, they are starting to call out a warning. Yea it looks like a long hot and dry summer. But better up high then down low in the cities and towns with all the Flatlanders!
