Not sure if anyone has heard of the GASCO project but April 16th the Obama admin. will release it's decsion on whether or not to allow new gas drilling on the order of 215 new wells. Obvioulsy this will impact Desolation Canyon as well as the rest of the environment. Good petition going here:
