On the west side of the Delamar Mountains, not far north and east of Delamar dry lake, lies the remains of an old mining town. Lots of partial walls still standing above the rubble of their higher reaches that have fallen over time. Its a pretty cool place that requires just a couple miles or more of rough road to reach, and an hour or so from the 93. HC, but not 4wd. Reached it late afternoon and wandered around in pretty stiff and chilly winds until sundown. Then spent a noisy night in a rocking truck. Loved it !
