Dayhiking Capitol Reef Natl Park, Back to Utah! April 5-8, 2017

I've looked for that Pleasant Creek slot three times and can't seem to find it. Where is it in relation to the "shallow slot" that Pleasant Creek actually runs through?

There's more info here: https://liveandlethike.com/2015/02/17/pleasant-creek-slot-canyon-capitol-reef-national-park-ut/

I'm aiming to head down next week for an overnight trip through that area and plan to check out as much of that slot as I can along the way. We'll see if I miss it or not.

Yes I have read that post, talked to the rangers/natural history association workers, and even read the Capitol Reef hiking book, but I STILL miss it every time. Now, I manage to find some sweet rock art further down that canyon, but the slot... nope.

A nice range of hikes.
Last year I looked down at that canyon you took down off Meeks when we were wandering around, and wondered if it went, maybe some other day.

I had the kids with me for a few days in the Reef earlier in the same week you were there. You got a lot more sunshine than we did, but no real complaints, there are rarely bad days in the desert, even with spring rain and snow.
