We spent part of a Saturday hanging out at Crystal Hot Springs with our friends the Beatty's along with a few other members of their extended family. It was actually a lot funner than I thought it would be, but I'm sure the water slide helped :). Matt Beatty is a new member of the forum and I hope he contributes some of his TR's as he's gone out and seen a lot of cool places in the southwest.

Here is a little video montage I created from the trip. I want to get out and visit some more rural hot springs in the area. Anyone have any other suggestions besides the Diamond Fork and Mystic Mikes? I actually have never been to either of them (and I plan to), but I'm curious where else they are located in the state.

There is a place similar to Crystal Hot Springs just outside of Preston, ID called Riverdale Resort. In my opinion it is much cleaner than Crystal Hot Springs and you'll definitely find less people there. I used to frequent it when I was attending Utah State Uiversity. I remember times when a small group of us would go and have the place to ourselves. I've never used the slide or Junior Olympic Pool, only the two theraputic pools.

There are also some hot springs in Ogden Canyon that I would go to back in high school. We would frequently encounter hobos there...that was about 15 yrs ago though.

Thanks Deadeye008 for sharing both of those locations. I think I have to plan a couple of trips.

Tyler, we need to get to the DF hot springs together. They're pretty awesome, and I've been wanting to go again (though I would *love* to actually snowshoe to them some year--maybe a year when there *is* snow).

And, yes, I will post some TRs! I just need to get on it. Thanks for the motivation.

Pah Tempe Hot Springs between La Verkin and Hurricane. Pretty expensive though. We went because they were doing a fundraiser for Hurricane High Soccer and it was $20/family. IMG_0362.JPGIMG_0365.JPG
