Colorado River to Dolores River

In my attempts to put together a river trip for this summer I haven't quite found what I want.

One possibility I'm looking at is the Colorado starting in Loma, CO and taking it past Westwater, UT
and joining the Dolores river.

Is there anyone who knows if this is doable?

You can certainly start in Loma and end AT the Dolores. You would need a permit from the BLM to run Westwater Canyon (and some prior experience with class III-IV whitewater depending on flows). Were you thinking of taking out near the confluence of the Dolores and the Colorado?
