Carfax

I'm looking at getting a new (used) car and wanted to run a carfax on it. Options- 1 carfax for $35 or 5 carfaxes for $45. Before I make the jump, is anyone else looking at buying a used car soon and I could make it cheaper for everyone?

I have always just had sellers get a carfax for me.. "I am really interested in your car but I want to know some more of its history, can you get a carfax on it?" Usually if they won't front $35 to sell their 5K car I probably don't want it.
