Camera advice

I'm ok with the fact that I'll never be a pro photographer like most of the people on here, but I want to take at least semi-decent pictures. I don't have the passion, budget, or time to spend hours in post on my pictures, but I would be willing to spend 5-10 min a piece.

I primarily shoot videos, not photographs. I have a T3i that is more capable than I am, but I'm not willing to carry it around on backpacking trips. I'm trying to get something small and light enough to bring on trips and still get decent pics. Even with the greatest camera in the world, my pics will look lame compared to everyone else here, so I'm trying to find a balance. Here's the twist: I'm more interested in video capability than photo capability. As long as it'll shoot photos in RAW, and has manual settings, it'll work for me.

Here's what I need in my next camera, hoping you guys can help.

1) smaller than a brick
2) ability to shoot in RAW
3) ability to shoot 1080p 30i min (60i preferrred)
4) manual focus
5) ability to adjust focus mid-video

Nice to have, but not absolutely necessary:
1) ability to do star trails/night photography
2) external mic jack

Currently I'm interested in the Sony RX100, but after seeing this video, I think I could get sharper video out of a Canon EOS M (plus I could use my canon lenses with it if I chose to get an adapter). The EOS M is $200 cheaper, and I'd be willing to carry one or two lenses around for my needs.

I also like the ability to shoot RAW video with magic lantern with the Canon.

Then again, this video taken with the rx100 is pretty impressive too.
