This is my first post on here. My family and I have not been big hikers in the past and I have made a resolution to change that this year. I have purchased some gear to get us out and see this great state of Utah. We got the kids some hydration backpacks and hiking shoes and sandals and some Osprey packs for my wife and I. On June 3rd we took off for Bryce with the 4 kids. Since this was going to be a quick trip and I wanted to see Willis Creek, we hit that hike first and had a blast.
Here is our clan heading out on the trail.
Having fun in the slot. This is such a great hike for the kids.
We hiked down to the confluence with Averett Canyon and then turned around. By the time you enter the last set of narrows, the creek completely disappears. Here are a few shots I did of the canyon.
Then we went to hike Bryce and that afternoon and evening along with the next day we hit a lot of the popular spots there and can't wait to return.
Overlooking the silent city.
The moon and the hoodoos.
Moon over Bryce. The moon gave off so much light, it was great to hike around in that light.
On the Navajo Trail.
On the Mossy Cave Trail.
Can't wait for the next adventure this summer.
