Best easy day hikes around Salt Lake

Kid Friendly? You dont have human kids? Writing a book?

I like most of Yvonnes but on a few of them I wouldnt bring a kid!
Arch Trail- Babylon Section Red Cliffs National Conservation Area (RCNCA)
Mollies Nipple (Hurricane) - Guaranteed to get to second base on this hike ;)
Red Reef Trail (starting from Red Cliffs Recreation Area) -Make sure to look for the huge alcove that has two pictographs.
Anasazi Ridge-
Snow Canyon Sand Dunes (not really much of a hike but a blast for kids)
Snow Canyon Petrified Dunes Trail
Church Rocks Trail (RCNCA)
Hurricane Canal Trail- Now Pah Tempe is owned by Water Conservancy District you could start near the hot springs and walk up the Virgin River Canyon.
Yellow Knolls (5 minutes from St George BLVD) RCNCA

Thanks for the recommendations. I did a couple in Snow Canyon today and just finished the red reef Trail. That was a sweet little hike. Probably going to do some Zion stuff tomorrow and then maybe knock off one or two more of these on Sunday. Thanks a ton everyone.

glad you liked the Red Reef trail. Enjoy the beautiful weekend down here and have fun in Zion tomorrow. I will be there tomorrow as well, but hike the Subway bottom up.

Did you happen to check out the alcove on the red reef? If not its cool. I have lived here most of my life, done the red reef dozens of times and never check it out until this year. Next time! image (1).jpeg

I did hike up there and it was cool! Super sad that the whole place is completely covered in graffiti but still very nice.
