Backpacking: Hurricane Wash into Coyote Gulch of 26 miles back in May

Hurricane Wash to Coyote Gulch was a 26 mile out and back trail located near Escalante, Utah and is rated as moderate. So we hiked into Coyote Gulch taking Hurricane Wash trail which is very sandy and was very hot when we went in May. We almost passed out from dehydration. We now call it the "death march". You might think to your self, "why are we doing this to ourselves?"
