Nah, you're okay. You just need to do it a little different.
So you used the URL to the Flickr page, not the actual image. When you click the image button and paste that URL in, it will appear broken since it's just the URL to a web page, not an image.
This is the URL you tried to use:
Code:http://www.flickr.com/photos/44601105@N07/6196906782/
If you take the URL to the actual image, it posts fine.
For example, this URL from that same image:
Code:http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6014/6196906782_e14a81d4ab_b.jpg
Looks like this when you paste it into the field that comes up when you click the image button.

But of course the easiest way to do it is to use the share button in Flickr and it writes the code for you. Take a look at this tutorial: Posting Photos From Flickr

I had this issue. At some point Safari had asked if I wanted to enable Flash for the site and I said no. Turning it back on fixed it for me.
