if its nice and hot out, like Bob said walking through the creek is the best bet. That water is magical. Or bring one of these...just don't burn down the Ponderosa Pines.

...been there 4 weeks ago. A handful bugs, water was ankle deep, night was sweet and warm in the alcove.

I've heard deer flies can be bad in there in the summer months. I've only been in March, April, May, June, September and January and I've never had any bug issues there.
