I was on a trail crew near Yosemite, and used the sleeve of a chain saw to create this pinhole camera view of what we saw:

He’s laughing now We had friends come in from NC and @Ugly and his daughter just showed up! We had a great time.

Last week we did run into @SteveR and his wife at The Swell!

What a surprise running into you and Rick, @Titans and then realizing that we had spent the previous night camped about 100m apart!
After finding our usual camping spots near CRNP way too crowded after a very peaceful week in grand staircase, we observed the eclipse in a less busy area in the swell. No pictures yet, until we return home.
