Altra Lone Peaks for hiking on slickrock - grippy or not?

I currently have Topo Athletic Terraventure 3's which are super comfy, have a 3mm drop and feature Vibram Megagrip soles. So far they've offered great grip on mud, wet rocks and wet wooden boardwalks.

Some folks don't like the arch support if they've grown used to something like Altras. Like any shoe, once you've broken them in and get used to the feel they can be very comfortable.
