In early April my girlfriend and I set out to spend a month in the Southern Utah desert. After a quick stop at the Grand Canyon we made it to Cedar Mesa in San Juan County. We settled on a campsite off of Coyote Flat Road and set off to explore. The nights were cold and the days perfect with lows in the low 20's and highs in the high 70's. We were also fortunate enough to wake up to a small heard of elk grazing in the flat near our campsite. Overall it was an awesome experience and we cant wait to go back. Here are some of the highlights

They weren't kidding
Kane Gulch to Junction and Turkey Pen Ruins

Moon house Ruin and others in McCloud Canyon

An alcove with some cool pictographs in McCloud Canyon

Muley Point and surrounding Viewpoints

We were running low on water so we ran up to Natural Bridges NM to take in some views and fill up our water tanks.

Government TH to Grand Gulch + some exploring Polly's Island

Sheik's Canyon & Yellow house ruins

Road Canyon and the Citadel

Looking down on Butler Wash and Comb Ridge
