2016 REI Dividends

Looks my REI purchases have really slowed down. So much so that I have $0.00 in a dividend. Haha. My rewards credit card on the other hand has been treating my nicely, just like some of you guys and your Amex, Amazon, etc. rewards cards. (Citi cash rewards is what I use. Basically 2% on everything).

I'm temped to get the Citi cash rewards card. I have been using a hybrid between Costco, Amazon, and Barclay CC's. The benifit of the Citi is that there is no fee. the other 2% chash cards have a fee, but they also have nice benefits for travelers....

We have that Costco card strictly for Costco but since they are changing from Amex to Visa we may look at getting something else Visa. I am just a sucker for that REI card. I know that if I had one that was cash back or rewards on Amazon I would likely use it for household type items instead of dedicated outdoor items.

The new Costco visa is stacking up to be a way better rewards card then their AMEX.

Yeah, my rewards always go toward travel. Never gear. But, I prefer to save and buy the gear, and use the "free" money for the vacation to Hawaii :)
