Yup, they are short video clips Bob. Hey Ryan, nothing special for the snow, it was a complete non issue. I was on trail the whole time. Stream crossings were not any problem either.

An early season trip through well worn territory, 3rd week of June. No mosquitoes. Patchy snow fields, wet and boggy and cool. Ahhhhh...

Other than USGS quads, any advice for natgeo style trail maps for teton and washakie wildernesses? Believe I've seen a gros ventre map out there. Maybe even someplace local to those areas?

Not near as much bp'ing this summer as planned. Family, fires, health have all rotated thru to vex me. But this was spectacular. Water everywhere, always within earshot if not eyeshot. And stars. 360. All the way down to the horizon. The milky way clear and cloudy and colorful. No wildlife...

From awhile back, another spot in the Delamar Mountains, straddling that transition zone of Mojave Desert/Great Basin. Another great winter weekend with mild, albeit windy days and cold nights. And easy walking up the constant but mostly mellow east slopes for ~5 miles. Zig-zagging above canyons...

I had a similar experience a couple years ago. Bent over to pick up dinner from off the ground and immediately felt nauseous and dizzy. Then a headache built over the next couple hours, and vomiting every 45 minutes to an hour. About 60 hours later I felt I could safely move and got back on...

Think it was hi 60's/lo 40's ? Breeze kept it feeling cooler I am sure. And didn't cover but 4 0r 5 miles truck to camp. And no tripod, try to balance between the knees, or find a level rock. If I was smart I'd fill a ditty bag with sand for a nice malleable base. And glad to help mellow your day.
