As someone who did shuttles for several seasons I say if you want to tip then go ahead. I never expected to get one (I was making alright money for running the shuttle), but when I did it made it that much better. I don't think shuttle drivers are expecting a tip, or they shouldn't be. I'm gonna have to agree with most of what was said here. I like my hammock and I've used it quite a bit, but I prefer a tent or a tarp.

We did and it made us jealous. We'll be back there next year for some skiing and adventuring in the Tushars. Yeah it was weird. Especially since the elevation says 12,169 and the USGS marker says 12,173...

Merwin and Baybill are awesome slots, not sure about many of the other side canyons. A lot of the white cliffs above Mineral house many ruins too. I think the upper is a bit less favorable than the lower, but still nice stuff to see. And if you have a nice 4x4 ATV the road does go all the way...
