Other than the red ants at the camp site, practically no bugs to speak of! At least not of the troubling/annoying sort. I may have seen one single mosquito in the evening, but I'm still not sure if that's what it was.

A friend got permits for a trip where we'll stay at Joseph's Coat and attempt to see Fairyland Basin. Very interested to see how challenging that one is. And I think we'll be doing an overnight somewhere around the Black Canyon this weekend. No lottery luck required for either of those!
