I picked up 3 also. I usually shoot my timelapse sequences in jpeg but I think with these in my arsenal I'm going to start shooting them in RAW.

What's your favorite recipe for cooking backcountry fish?

This is the one that I have from Walmart. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Rapala-FLF6-Fillet-Knife-with-Leather-Sheath-and-Sharpener/15904150 I was also given a Cutco fillet knife a while back and it is top quality. The blade extends from 6' to 9" and comes with a synthetic sheath. I thnk they are...

What's your favorite recipe for cooking backcountry fish?

Are these the ones with the wood handle and leather sheath? I've got one of the wood handle ones from Walmart that I've had for 10 years or so. Nice little knife. Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using Tapatalk 2

Fish Lake area of the Uintas

I agree. I have seen some really nice fish come out of the Uintas this year. I think I caught W-57 about 2yrs out of its prime. Most of the fish we caught were right around 12". I'm betting in a couple of years all those fish will be really nice.

A good fillet knife, a steady hand, and lots of practice.

What's your favorite recipe for cooking backcountry fish?

I grew up cooking them basically the same way you did, whole fish in foil with lemon pepper, and garlic salt. After having some fish that uintahiker cooked for me lakeside, I came up with an idea. On my last trip I packed some foil, butter, garlic salt, and onion powder. I filleted the fish, put...

Fish Lake area of the Uintas

I was going to wait until I had the video done for this trip to post a TR but I haven't had the time lately to work on the video so I'll just add it to the report when I get it done. I have been backpacking into this area for the past 15+ years. Always coming up the Dry Creek TH and always with...

    Wind Rivers - Titcomb Basin

You would probably have better luck with something like an Elk Hair Caddis or Stimulator with a Hairs Ear or Pheasant Tail dropper in the streams. Scuds are not plentiful in streams like they are in lakes.

What kind of stove do you use

I have one of these. It has performed great, is ultralight, and dirt cheap compared to similiar stoves. Downside is delivery time. I think mine took 3-4 weeks. http://www.dealextreme.com/p/outdoor-portable-ultra-mini-stainless-steel-gas-stove-with-a-case-2-ag3-46371?item=50

I have the outdoor kit. It comes with the same waterproof case as all the other kits. You can definitely use the case underwater it's just that the video/pictures are not as clear as when you use it out of water. Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using Tapatalk 2

$50 off all GoPro packages at Backcountry.com

If you are going to use it for underwater video you are going to want to get the new GoPro Dive Housing(Not sure why Amazon has it for $85. Retail is $50). Because the original housing has a curved plastic lens on it, underwater pictures and video are a little blury. This new case fixes that...
