    Wind Rivers - Big Sandy

They do aerial stocking just like the Uintas. The majority of the lakes in the Winds are stocked every few years. There are some lakes that have self sustaining populations of trout though.

You're right, it's a Tokina. If you get the 7D you will probably want a wider lens than the 24-105. The 17-55 was made for crop sensors like the 7D. Most people find that 24 is not wide enough on a crop sensor camera. Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using Tapatalk 2

Yes, Canon's L series is their top of the line. My camera is the 6D which is full frame. There is a Canon 60D which is not full frame. Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using Tapatalk 2

The majority of the pics from this trip were with my Canon 24-105 f4 L. I did use my Tamron 10-17 fisheye for a few though. The 24-105 is a great all around lens on a full frame camera. I use it the majority of the time for stills and video. Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using Tapatalk 2

Thanks. I use a Canon 6D. For pictures I use Lightroom and for video I use Windows Movie Maker. It's really user friendly and has all the basic features you need. Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using Tapatalk 2

Sorry, I just saw your post. I assume you've got a motor? If so, West Thumb is the best place to launch. If you've got a kayak/canoe you can launch out of another site on the east side of the lake near Sedge Creek. The best places to camp/fish are in the two southern arms of the lake. There are...

Boy Scouts kill bear at East Fork of the Bear

Hope that "leader" gets charged for killing the bear and gets kicked out of Boy Scouts for possessing a firearm during a scouting activity(which is prohibited by Boy Scout regulations). Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using Tapatalk 2

    Canon SL1

Didn't know whether to put this here or in the gear thread. This camera looks pretty sweet for backpacking adventures. Comes in at only 14oz and is super compact while still allowing the use of EF lenses. Might sell my T2i and pick this body up. AF specs look decent and so do ISO specs for low...
