My goal in the next week or two is to build a windscreen for my pocket rocket stove. There are tons of DIY videos on different ways to do it but if any of you have personal experience you wish to share it would be appreciated. This past weekend on Bison Peak it was a challenge in the wind with my little stove. I had My Mountain House Meal packs standing vigil around the little stove trying to block the wind. This isn't the first time it has been an issue either.
The simplest I have seen is just some ind of aluminum bent in a circle with three pieces of wire as supports that sit on the stove burners. like this:
Anyone see a problem with design that would make it not a good choice?
I'll post pics of my finish project when done.
