has anyone been here recently? just wondering on the road conditions and such. hoping to head here in a few weeks.

thanks for any info. most of the trip reports i found on the "net" are not current. will have a high clearance (well a 4WD anyways) vehicle.

Did you cross the Dirty Devil? How far up the tires did it come if so? How is the road east of the Devil?

I came in from poison spring rd from Utah-95.
You don't cross the dirty devil via car. You do have to hike across it... It was only ankle deep

Thanks. Many people do cross it and drive many miles on the east side. I think you can even drive through to points far east. Boy, the river is sure low this year thus far.

Yes, going down quick. When we paddled it in Feb it was at the highest I saw this season so far: a paltry 125 cfs.

Took me about 90 minutes to drive the 16 miles at an aggressive pace.

I took about 2 hours to drive from pavement to near where the black jump trail is blocked for real. This was my first time down poison springs and this was taking it pretty slow.
