Back from an awesome week of backpacking in the Wind Rivers. We hiked about 50 miles from the Green River Lakes to Elkhart Park. Here's a shot from camp 1 below Squaretop. That's @slc_dan and two big bull moose out in the meadow.

this was an awesome stormy weekend, the storms were hammering down on us for hours that one day, so we had a superb lightshow on our way to the Wave.
I was surprised about the little Stateline Campground, convenient location, nice and clean and all for free

I spent two nights in the Moab area this past weekend. The first night was on the rim of Hell Roaring Canyon. Even after it rained all evening I took a chance didn't set up the tent--my first time ever sleeping under the stars (yes, it finally did clear up!). Second night was in Bride Canyon just off the Gemini Bridges road.
