Hey!

Looking to do either the West rim trail or the full Lee Pass -> West Rim trail in April (either 6th or 13th).
Wondering
1) what trail conditions I should expect.
2) What show we expect at the campsites overnight, both in terms of snow on the ground as well as temperatures. Seems like 0c - 8c based on some historical data from https://www.weatherforyou.com/report/west+rim+trail-ut/metric and https://www.trekweather.com/us/utah/trail/west-rim-trail-top-down/18606.

I know usually there there is snow, but his year I heard the snowpack is pretty light and it has been warm. We are ok brining spikes and hiking some parts is light snowpack and mud, but also want to make sure it is doable in 3 days, and there are no major path finding obstacles or other hazards.

We hiked from Wildcat TH to the Grotto today. There was intermittent snow/mud at higher elevations, with continuous sections around Potato Hollow. We're supposed to get another cold storm in the next few days, which could drop up to few inches in that area. Unable to tell you how many days it might take; that's all relative.

We're camping right by Potato Hollow spring later this week.

Was there water at potato hollow springs? How's the ground in that area?
